THE MACALLAN SHERRY OAK 18 YO

The Macallan was one of the first distillers in Scotland to be legally licensed. Since then we have built a reputation as one of the world’s leading single malt whiskies. The creation of The Macallan draws on the vital contributing influences of Spain, North America and Scotland - and of their respective natural raw materials, combined with traditional methods and craftsmanship. When matured in Oloroso sherry seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain, our rich, fruity and full bodied ‘new make’ spirit is transformed into an iconic single malt. Once filled, the maturing spirit remains undisturbed in the same casks for 18 years and is brought together in this rich and complex single malt characterized by mature oak, ginger and raisin flavours.

Nose: Dried fruits and ginger with hints of vanilla and cinnamon.

Palate: Soft and rich, with hints of spice, clove, orange and toasted mature oak.

Finish: Lingering with dried fruits, ginger and orange zest.
